NCsoft has announced that it has opened two new servers in Europe for the fantasy MMORPG Aion, officially launched in Romania, while the rest of Europe. Manufacturers have opened new servers to address congestion problems arise after release and thus to avoid becoming victims of their own success (Aion has sold only 400,000 copies in preorder).The two new servers addresses Aion players speak English and French. Thus, the server runs Kahrun English and Deltras in French. Those of us who have played since launch Aion(database aion) is painfully aware of the long queues and waiting times one experiences before one can jump into the game.

We have certainly done something very right with Aion; product is polished and incredibly entertaining. We have managed to launch in both North America and Europe in the same week, and we have experienced great demand. As most are aware, this has happened at the expense of waiting time. This is definitely our biggest challenge, and it has led to frustration among players who are waiting to get into their chosen server. We have already and will continue to expand server capacity to ensure that we have space for every user. The situation is that some of the servers quickly became popular, with queues to get into, while others had plenty of space for players. It will obviously not help to add new servers in these cases. If you want to get into a full server, not even 100 new servers to help.
